EBSCO A-to-Z is a locator tool listing all of the library's e-resources, including e-journals, titles in full-text databases, publisher packages and print titles subscribed by the library. ABI/ Inform Global Business
is the recognized database of online full text journals in the area of Business. It provides full text for 1,800 journals covering business, economics, management, marketing, MIS, human resource management and much more. You must be a registered student or a member of AIIAS personnel to access this database. Your AIIAS email username and password is required. Once in the database, click on "Databases Selected" and choose ABI/Inform Global.
Academic Search Premier
Academic Search Premier is an interdisciplinary database of journals. It offers wide coverage of academic and peer-reviewed journals. Academic Search Premier includes full-text for 4,000 journals along with abstracts and indexing for many more. Public health, religion, theology, education and business all have good journal coverage. But the database contains journals in many other areas as well, including family studies, psychology, medicine, cultural studies and information technology. This database is only available to registered AIIAS students and AIIAS employees. Your AIIAS email username and password is required.
ATLA Religion Database/ ATLA Serials
ATLA Religion Database is the premier index for religion and theology. It indexes, articles, book reviews, essays and multiauthor works back to 1949. ATLA Serials provides full text from 50+journals. You must be a registered student or a member of AIIAS personnel to access this database. Your AIIAS email username and password is required. Once your username and password has been accepted, click on "EbscoHost Web." On the next screen, uncheck Academic Search Premier and place a check mark next to ATLA Religion Database and ATLA Religion Database with ATLA Serials.
Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
included about 2,200 journal titles in full text. Some 600 of them are searchable at article level. The database covers all subjects and languages. Coverage is variable going back from one year to several decades. This is a free access service.
ERIC/Educator's Reference Desk
is a personalized Internet-based service providing education information to teachers, librarians, counselors, administrators, parents, and anyone interested in education throughout the United States and the world. It includes a Question and Answer service, an educational resource collection of Internet sites, educational organizations and electronic discussion groups, a question archive, a collection of lesson plans and access to the ERIC database.
Index to Christ in the Classroom
is now online. Christ in the Classroom has been published by the General Conference Education Department for many years. It is a compilation of articles on Faith and Learning in the Classroom by SDA educators from around the world. It is now searchable in online format.
JSTOR Journal archives
The JSTOR archive holds the complete digitized back runs of core scholarly journal, starting with the very first issues, some dating back as the 1600. It does not include current journal issues. There is a “moving wall” that, depending on the publisher, excludes the recent volumes. In most cases that period ranges from two to five years.

The Leslie Hardinge library subscribes to the Arts & Sciences III Collection and the Arts & Sciences Complement sections of JSTOR. The list of periodical titles included on those sections are available in http://support.jstor.org/collectioninfo
Library, Information Science and Technology Abstracts (LISTA)
is a database of resources in librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online* *information retrieval, and information science. More than 21,000 articles from 600 plus periodicals and more than 5,000 conference proceedings and research papers are included. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid 1960s. Some documents are full text. Your AIIAS username and password is required.
Medscape
This useful site offers extensive full-text articles in the fields of medicine and allied health. The site is free but you must register to have access to full-text articles.
National Library of Medicine
NLM provides a wide variety of resources related to the biomedical and health sciences, both past and present. The format of these resources varies: searchable databases & databanks, bibliographic citations, full text (when available), archival collections, and images.
ProQuest Digital Dissertations
With more than 2 million entries, PQD&T is the single, central, authoritative resource for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses. Dissertations published from 1980 forward include 350- word abstracts written by the author. Master's theses published from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. Titles available as native or image PDF formats include free twenty-four page previews. UMI offers over 1.8 million titles for purchase in microform, paper or electronic formats. Proquest - Religion
Proquest Religion provides full text journals in the area of Religion. This database is brought to us by the same vendor as ABI Inform. It contains approximately 100 religion journals. You must be a registered student or a member of AIIAS personnel to access this database. Your AIIAS email username and password is required. Once in the database, click on "Databases Selected" and choose Proquest Religion.
PubMed/MEDLINE
The PubMed database was developed in conjunction with publishers of biomedical literature as a search tool for accessing literature citations and linking to full-text journal articles at web sites of participating publishers. User registration, a subscription fee, or some other type of fee may be required to access the full-text of articles in some journals. MEDLINE is the NLM's premier bibliographic database covering the fields of medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the preclinical sciences. MEDLINE contains bibliographic citations and author abstracts from more than 4,000 biomedical journals published in the United States and 70 other countries.
