This course provides an intensive introduction to Biblical Hebrew grammar, practical vocabulary, and practice in the use of the language in school.

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to:

1. Memorize and define the New Testament Greek vocabulary of 300 frequently occurring words.
2. Understand parts of speech in Greek and their functions in a sentence.
3. Demonstrate ability to parse Greek nouns/ adjectives (declensions) and Greek verbs (conjugation) and their use in the sentence.
4. Read and translate selected biblical passages from Greek to English.
5. Identify some basic syntax.
