about the iconference

The AIIAS International Research Conference or simply known as the i-conference, is an annual research platform organized by the AIIAS graduate school. It started as vessel for student presentations, it has since expanded to be a platform for a research community which is open for collaboration and engagement with institutions and organizations beyond AIIAS.

presenters' guidelines

Submission of Abstract is now closed. Presenters of the iConference, please take note and follow the guidelines below.

PPT GUIDELINES

  1. Use the iConference PPT theme template
  2. Slide 1: Should contain the title of the presentation, your name & highest degree, and your institution
  3. Slides 2 to 4: Some pictures of your university
  4. Slides 5 to 6: Your introduction
  5. Next 7 to 15 slides: your actual presentation that should include: Presentation Outline, Introduction, Statement of the Problem, Research Gap, Significance of the Study, Theoretical/Conceptual Framework, Methodology (Research Design,
    Research Setting, Population and Sampling, Data Collection Instruments and Procedures, Data Analysis) Results/Findings, Implications, Conclusion, and Recommendation (Note: You may follow the order in the evaluation rubric).
  6. The last slide: Should contain your name, highest degree, email address (optional), and telephone number (optional)
  7. It is important to use PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) as such: it is
    a presentation of powerful points. So, avoid long texts on a single slide or several graphics or graphics that distract your audience. Limit text colors to less than 5. Use other principles of good PPT.
  8. Please keep in mind that you will have 20 minutes of presentation followed by 10 minutes of questions and answers.
  9. Strictly keep the time allotted to you. So, plan accordingly. We would not like to have to stop you when you go beyond the time.

  1. Only those who have registered will be included in the iConference program.
  2. All the presentations should use the Zoom Background provided.
  3. Be reminded that the pre-recorded video would only be put as a backup.
  4. However, we strongly recommend your presentation should be live.

Presentation Submission

IMPORTANT: All the presenters should pre-record the presentation and send the pre-recorded video(s) of the presentation together with the PowerPoint to us by November 9,
2022.
