The course builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired through introductory homiletics courses and previous preaching experience. It emphasizes refining homiletical methods and transforming them into effective, engaging, and impactful sermon delivery.
A minimum of 18 hours/week for approximately 2 months.

Dr. ASHOK KUMAR, PhD
Dr. Ashok Kumar hails from India. He worked as a church Pastor in the city of Bangalore, India. Pastored number of congregations and preached the word of God with passion and zeal. Later, he worked as a Radio Speaker at Adventist World Radio for Kannada (Local language in South India). Media ministry also taught him how to preach to an unknown and unseen audience. His Doctorate in Church Ministry enabled him to understand the significance of congregational preaching.
He is passionate about reading, researching, and preaching the word of God. His ministry involves training the pastors for preaching the word of God in more exegetical, contextualized, and Christ-centered preaching. At present, Dr. Ashok Kumar works as a Conference President, training and equipping the pastors for preaching ministry.
JAMES PARK, PhD
Dr. James Park is an experienced pastor and professor who has been actively engaged in discipleship, church growth, and missions. Before his retirement, he served AIIAS as the program director of the Master of Arts in the Ministry (online).
