AIIAS Welcomes Dr. Natasha Nangoy-Sinaga to the Business Department

AIIAS welcomes Dr. Natasha Nangoy-Sinaga, appointed by the AIIAS Board of Trustees to serve as an instructor in the business department of the AIIAS Graduate School, beginning January 1, 2023. She was recently ranked as an assistant professor in May 2023.

Natasha worked as an English Teacher at the Adventist English Conversation School in Jakarta, Indonesia, and as an accountant at the University of Eastern Africa Baraton in Eldoret, Kenya. She has served as a contract lecturer and the PAASCU Accreditation Assistant at AIIAS while pursuing her PhD degree at AIIAS.

Natasha earned her degrees in Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy in Business from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies, while her bachelor’s degree is from Universitas Klabat in Indonesia. As a scholar, her interests include qualitative research, work-life balance, working from home, crisis management, organizational behavior and motivations, and empowering women and minority groups. Her dissertation proposed a grounded theory of “mindful juggling” as an outcome of interviews with research participants who experienced the abrupt transition to work-from-home amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Natasha is married to Akiko Sinaga, a senior payroll analyst at Amazon Philippines. They are blessed with one daughter, Kiyora (8).
