Comprehensive Exams General Guidelines

Seminary students who are perusing a program related to Biblical Studies can get here orientation on their comprehensive examination according to the areas of concentration.

Exploring Sacred Scriptures Colloquium Series

A department colloquium where different subjects related to the field of Biblical studies are discussed. It is an open and free event to all AIIAS community.

Dissertation Stage

Guidelines related to the process of writing a Thesis/Dissertation for Biblical Studies students.

Greek Reading Study Group

Students strengthen their skills in reading the New Testament Greek. Meets every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Seminary Room B, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Hebrew Reading Study Group

Students strengthen their skills in reading the Hebrew Bible. Meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. Seminary Room D, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Research and Academic Writing (RAW)

Sessions that provide guidelines, procedures, resources, workshops, and other hints about research and writing, including some tips on academic presentation.

In-Depth Bible Study

A streaming event where relevant topics are presented from the perspective of the Biblical text. Stay tuned for the transmission in YouTube and Facebook channels.

Perspectives in Biblical Studies

This publication includes a series of selected term papers written by BSD students. It is published online twice a year.
