Bio:

Remwil Tornalejo is a Filipino who grew up in the western part of the Philippines. He finished his AB Theology degree from Mountain View College, Bukidnon, Philippines. He earned his Master of Pastoral Studies degree from AIIAS. After a few years of pastoral experience in North Central Mindanao Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, he was called to serve as a Literature Ministry Seminary dean and instructor at the South Philippine Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. He also served as the chair of the Theology Department of the South Philippine Adventist College in Davao del Sur, Philippines before coming to AIIAS to study in 2005. He finished his MDiv degree and immediately proceeded to take his MTh program. He started teaching at AIIAS on a half-time basis until he completed his DTheol degree from ATESEA Theological Union. He is married to Marilou Manatad Tornalejo, and they have four grown-up children: Wilmaree, Adlai Wilfred, Ingrid Idyll, and Dwight Mark.

Recent/Upcoming Publications:

Dr. Tornalejo has presented on topics related to ethics, discipleship, evangelism, eschatology, Christology, pneumatology, Trinity, revelation and inspiration, and baptism. He is currently working on a paper on the doctrine of the Trinity.

He is the regional editor of the Encyclopedia of Seventh-day Adventist, Southern Asia Pacific Division. He is also serving as the sponsor of the Association of Asian Theological Society as well the editor of the Journal of the Association of Asian Theological Society.
